Homes2Swap Ltd.

How Does it Work?

homes2swap.co.nz makes it easy and affordable for you to list your home to swap. For as little as $59.95, you can list your property to swap on homes2swap.co.nz for as long as like. Then sit back and wait for those like-minded people to give you a call. That perfect offer may be just around the corner.

  1. List your home with a detailed description and up to 10 photos. The 'List Your Home' template will lead you through this simple process. It is important that your photos are no larger than 800 megapixels wide and/or 375 megapixels deep. Neither measurement should be exceeded. For best results, at least 5 photos must be supplied for each listing.

http://www.picnik.com/app is a free website that will help you re-size and enhance the quality of your photos before you send them through to homes2swap.co.nz.  Its very easy to use and can make your photo's look very professional.

  2. Next - add the details of the home you seek, including your preferred location(s), key attributes sought and your general criteria and description. Remember that more flexible criteria is likely to result in more offers to swap.

  3. The details of the home you are offering and the home you seek will be electronically forwarded to our administrator at info@homes2swap.co.nz for listing within 24 hours of receipt of the listing fee. Payment details will be e-mailed to you following the receipt of your listing details.

  4. Initially, all interest in your property will be administered on-line through homes2swap.co.nz. Genuine enquirers will be asked list their property on the website too, to enable you to view the property they are offering to swap. Your contact details including your property address will not be published as part of your listing on the homes2swap.co.nz.

  5. You will be contacted by homes2swap.co.nz with all genuine enquiries received. No direct contact will be permitted between yourself and other parties until you give us the OK to release your details and agree to proceed to the next stage.

  6. Upon mutual approval, the contact details will then be exchanged between the participants.

  7. The rest is up to you, your bank and your conveyancing professional. You are strongly recommended to engage professional advice for your conveyancing and legal requirements.  Our Legal Stuff Page contains some general information and advice on how to best progress your conveyancing.

  8. Your feedback is important to us. In particular, we ask is that you advise homes2swap.co.nz when a successful swap has taken place. This ensures that we too can share in your success and perhaps pass your story onto other 'would be' swappers. A testimonial from you would be appreciated.
